Each SpaceHub facility is a well heated and dry premise equipped with units of different sizes that can be rented for storage of any kind of items for 1 month or more.
What storage condition are being held in the facilities?
All the SpaceHub facilities are being cleaned regularly and temperature/humidity level are constant all the time.
What safety measures do SpaceHub facilities have?
All the facilities are equipped with electronic access system with individual pin-codes, so only clients and their verified representatives have access to the facility. Moreover, all the facilities have CCTV systems through which our Care Service monitors the situation on all the facilities and reacts on any emergencies, if needed.
What is the difference between the facilities, except their locations?
We have two types of facilities: unmanned and with staff. Furthermore, each facility has its own features. For instance, some provide the possibility to park your car inside, right by your unit, when others have parking places on the surrounding area. In order to find the facility that fits you the most go to the Units and prices page where you can set up necessary filters by facility key features.
What sizes of the units are available in SpaceHub?
We offer a big variety of units with different sizes starting from 1 m2 up to 50 m2. While choosing a unit please pay attention to the ceiling height, unit’s doorframe dimensions and other parameters. What is prohibited to store in SpaceHub units?
We are not allowing to store the following items:
Toxic and radioactive matters
Smoldering or smelly materials
Highly inflammable materials and liquids
Items prohibited for possession in Estonia
Weaponry and explosive matters
Money and security papers
Flora and fauna species
Drugs and medicine in any form
Beaware: by signing the rental contract you provide your consent
to abovementioned conditions and undertake full responsibility
for the unit’s content.
What is an attic unit?
Attic units are located above the floor level, usually around 2 meters or higher. You can access those by using movable ladder-platforms available for all the clients.
Access to facilities and units
How do I access my unit?
Unit – is your personal mini-warehouse located in the SpaceHub facility. In unmanned facilities units are equipped with electronic access system with a PIN-code which you receive right after rental contract conclusion. The PIN-code must be entered in a special terminal inside the facility, granting you access to the unit.
How do I access the facility?
All our facilities are equipped with electronic access system. Having signed the contract online, you will receive an SMS to your phone with a personal access code to the facility. The PIN-code must be entered to the related field in the mobile app or in a special terminal in the facility, located near its entrance door. The access will be granted.
What time can I visit the facility and use my unit?
We are striving to make the process of unit usage as comfortable as possible, that is why all SpaceHub facilities work around the clock and without holidays. Visit your unit any time you want as it was your personal storage room, bring and take out stuff when it is convenient for you.
What if I forget my PIN-code?
You can always find the access code in your personal account at our website or in the app.
Can I visit and check out the unit before the contract conclusion?
You can come and see for yourself how it is arranged at SpaceHub facilities and in each specific unit. For that you are going to need to book a guest visit by filling in the enquiry on the page of the unit you are interested in. After the contact details are filled in, you will receive an SMS with onetime PIN-code that grants you access to desired facility. The code will expire in 24 hours after receival.
Can I grant access to the facility to third parties?
At SpaceHub you can use your unit together with other people: family members, colleagues or friends. For that you will need to provide them a copy of the key to your padlock or the PIN-code to electrical one. Don’t forget to share the code granting access to the facility as well.
Can I change the PIN-code to my unit?
Of course! You can change the PIN-code to your unit by calling +372 600 29 09 from Mon-Fri 8:00 - 17:00 Sat-Sun 11:00-17:00
Contracts and payments
How can I rent a unit at SpaceHub?
To do so you need to register a personal account, choose the rate that fits you the best and pay for the service. You can do it completely online, through SpaceHub support by phone Mon-Fri 8:00 - 17:00 Sat-Sun 11:00-17:00. What is the minimum and maximum rental period?
You can rent a unit for any period, but not less than for 1 month. The rental contract is being concluded for 11 months by default, with automatic prolongation till the moment you decide to terminate it.
Do I have to conclude the contract before bringing my stuff or I can do it the same day?
It is not necessary to sign the contract upfront. You can conclude it any time online, on the day you want to begin your storage at SpaceHub.
Do I have to pay for all the period of storage at once?
No, you do not have to. You can pay monthly, where the settlement day will be the same day when the contract was concluded. Each month, 7 days prior the start of new rental period an e-mail with an invoice will be sent to you. You can process the payment through bank cards or via bank transfers.
What does the rental rate depend on?
The amount of rental payment depends on the rate you chose: the bigger the storage period is, the bigger monthly discount you get. SpaceHub has three rental rates kinds: 1 month, 6 months and 1 year. Having chosen one of those you still can pay the rent monthly.
How and when can I terminate the contract?
The contract can be terminated at any time. To do so you are going to need to empty the unit and leave it open, after that click "terminate the contract" button in your personal account or notify SpaceHub Care Service (Mon-Fri 8:00 - 17:00 Sat-Sun 11:00-17:00) of your contract termination.
How long do I have to notify about the termination of the contract?
We ask our clients to notify us 10 days prior the planned termination date.
I urgently need more space. What to do?
If for some reasons you will need a bigger or smaller unit, switch the location to another facility with another pricing you can always ask for help at SpaceHub Mon-Fri 8:00 - 17:00 Sat-Sun 11:00-17:00 Care Service. Our specialists will gladly help you to pick another unit and renew the rental contract.
