Conditions. According to the requirements for the room for the seasonal storage of tires the temperature should be within the range 20-25 °, humidity - from 60 to 70%. It is also necessary to ensure storage of tires at a distance of not less than 1 meter from any heating devices and avoid direct sunlight. It is also important that the tires are made of organic material, so you should not additionally pack them in polyethylene, but you can use fabric or other “breathing” materials. Before putting the tires in storage, they should be thoroughly washed and treated with a preservative compound.
Positioning. The optimal position for storing tires in the storage room is standing up (on the edge). We also recommend the use of a suitable support, which distributes the weight and maintains the correct geometry. Tires on disks or complete wheels can be stored stacked one on top of the other (up to 8 pieces in a “column”).
Every two months, they should be turned over. This way of storing summer or winter tires will maintain the necessary atmospheric pressure in them.
Unit’s rental price for seasonal storage of tires
The minimum price for storing tires or complete wheels is 30 Euro per box of one square meter.
