Country house items storage preparation

Gardening tools are best kept clean and dry, sharpened for the winter.

Complex tools like pruners and garden shears should not be soaked. They are dry cleaned and oiled. They are stored in linen covers, which absorb excess moisture.

Fuel is drained from the walk-behind tractor, the filter is changed or cleaned. The tire and chain are removed from the chainsaw, wrapped in oiled paper or newspapers.

In gardening equipment that is not used in winter, the oil is replaced with a preservation mixture or a winter, more viscous oil composition, if it is occasionally planned to be launched.

5 “do nots” that will grant you a proper storage of garden equipment

Shovels. Spade handles do not dry out, and the attachment points of metal to wood do not loosen.
Digging hoes. They are not covered with erosions - micro-erosions, which then give the syndrome of the “moth-eaten” surface.
Pad saws, axes. Do not become blunt, last longer, axes do not rot and do not swell.
Electric tools. They do not corrode. Their cords do not become stiff or crack. The collector motor does not fail at the terminals. Condensation does not form inside it when the room humidity is high.
Watering equipment. It does not crack in frost or from temperature differences. The surface of the garden equipment is not damaged and does not begin to emit harmful substances from its composition.

How to store garden equipment with minimum space and money
